I can kind of understand the XBox360 or iPhone mania, but is 50% off something like a down comforter really worth braving the Black Friday madness? Clearly, the power of the dollar sends some into a competitive frenzy. Remember the stampede at a Chongqing supermarket that killed 3 & injured 30 a couple weeks ago? And for all things, discounted cooking oil!
The commercialization of the Holiday season is at an all-time high, and shoppers are buying in to the hype.
Yesterday, a friend & I made a pact to ditch the present exchange...gifts only for children & immediate family. Love the idea!
