If Krispy Kreme is the 'cocaine of doughnuts', then Top Pot is heroin. Residing only a couple blocks away from this pastry den of inequity, I often find myself magnetically drawn to temptation while strolling the 'hood.
Specializing in cake-style doughnuts, Top Pot's product is rich & dense, but not too sweet. My fave is the simple white glazed...but every once in a while, when necessary to quell a serious jones, only the classic chocolate-topped, custard-filled bismarck will do.
