In a week filled with personal strife, all I wish here is to applaud figureskater Mirai Nagasu for her brilliant display in St. Paul, grabbing the U.S. Championship during her first competition at the senior level.And congrats to both Johnny & Evan, who competed at the highest levels to actually tie on points for first.
All 'n all, fantastic drama at the USFSA's showcase event.
(I know...what's with the Boyhowdy love for this sport? Well, my mom really enjoys figureskating, so it's something that I follow to connect with her. Also, my neighbor friend's a judge....)
